Two years ago during COVID, I transformed my “in person” offerings into private live zoom classes where people would gather, share their stories, be inspired and feel a sense of community through journal prompts and expressive art pages that we call Art Journaling with Susan Seitz.

After 2 years and over 100 lesson plans, I am overjoyed and ready to share this state of flow practice with you in my very first journal books!

I’m Susan Seitz and I’m so excited that you are here! Creativity is the experience of being in the present moment, it is meditation, it is healing and it is magic.

I am an artist, new author, a creativity coach and an intuitive teacher. With over a decade of experience as an artist and facilitator of playful and healing art workshops for individuals of all ages, I truly believe in the power of creativity to bring more joy, healing and fun to all of our lives.

Being in nature fills my soul. I am constantly inspired by mother earth – the source of all creation, who shares her inner secrets and desires through a connected space. Tapping into this remarkable energy is available to us all. My heart fills with gratitude as my paint brush unfolds and reveals a glimpse of the beauty that hides within.

I am an artist, a creativity coach and an intuitive teacher. With over a decade of experience as an artist and facilitator of playful and healing art workshops for individuals of all ages, I truly believe in the power of creativity to bring more joy, healing and fun to all of our lives.

I do art to heal. I want to share that with the world and teach others how to find their muse in nature and bring creativity into existence to allow a safe space to heal. When words aren’t there – expressive arts can help.

Ever since I was a little girl, I used creativity as a form of meditation – a place I could show up and lose myself and find peace within. A place where, if I stayed long enough, I could heal from everyday stresses, anxiety & early childhood trauma.

Sharing my gifts and wisdom with others is my destiny. I care about you and your creative process and it is so important to me that you feel safe at my workshops and that you have the freedom to be yourself and to explore and discover your own heart through expressive arts.

My goal is not to “teach you” something…my goal is to facilitate an awakening that you are enough. That to be curious about our work is the greatest gift we can give ourselves and others. And that when our intention begins with love, all things are possible.

My "10th Anniversary" Collection

by Canadian Artist Susan Seitz.

In celebration of Susan Seitz 10th anniversary as an artist, she created a collection of 10 paintings devoted to the healing power of trees, natural woodlands and forests throughout the year of 2020. The paintings honoured Mental Health Awareness, with a donation from each piece of art going to local Mental Health Charities.

While the year has passed and her collection sold out (fast), we leave this gallery here for you to browse, to appreciate, and to send your love through your comments to Susan. It was a year of change for all of us. Who could possibly have known how symbolic this collection would become.

“In times of uncertainty and in the lostness of it all, I find comfort in knowing no matter how dark and disoriented my inner world feels, the trees always know where I am.

Mystical is one way I would describe these sentient beings, with the ability to heal and wash away everyday troubles of the world. Think about the way they (trees, the woodlands, the forest) invite you into their space. How they call out your name when you are walking along a path. The lessons they teach us as they dance with changes in every season. Even the way they hold you when you rest upon the roots of their existence or dangle from their limbs while playing, trees have always been a cradle upon which I could rest my weary soul. >>> read more
